the student web (tsw) at the university of east anglia (uea), norwich. (produced in association with the rest of the tsw team). The alt.guide 2000-2001 featured in NUS publications, The Independent and in The Guardian. tsw won The Independent/NUS student journalism awards 2000 for best website and came runner-up in The Guardian student media awards 2000 for best website. tsw also came runner-up in The Independent/NUS student journalism awards 2001 for best website. live 1999-september 2003. adam svendsen was editor-in-chief (2000-3). head of design (1999-2003).

merricks media ltd - corporate website for Merricks Media Ltd. - travel, property & lifestyle magazine and book publishing company and provider of publishing services, based in bath, uk. (From November 2003 to end-December 2004, adam svendsen was webmaster. roles performed across all merricks media websites: web manager, web editor, web designer, web developer, online advert designer & production manager, online discussion forums moderator, online marketing, online store manager). liaised with web developers over the setting up of online discussion forums and an online store e-commerce system, using barclay's ePDQ. liaised with sales over online advertising. also was in charge of online marketing and e-mail updates.
